Just a quiet day out with dad and the dogs, he wanted to try his tire chains out, they didnt work well as he just kept diggin down. Now he wants a locker and bigger tires :eek: .

in deep stuff chains are useless, work great on ice and not very much snow though.

Have you tried running the chains in the rear? keeps the back end from passing you in the real slippery stuff. And if something ever lets loose there is less stuff for the flailing chains to damage.

Dad just swapped in a exploder 8.8 so its a little narrow, waiting on some spacers for the back, hes just running 235/75/15 winters. Yeah chains just dug to the ground. I'm amazed with the mtrs at 5psi!!

Dad just swapped in a exploder 8.8 so its a little narrow, waiting on some spacers for the back, hes just running 235/75/15 winters. Yeah chains just dug to the ground. I'm amazed with the mtrs at 5psi!!

if his tires in the rear are bald the chains will dig to the ground,

Still too much snow up by the tomb to take the bikes out? Time you bought a sled Justin! :D

Yeah this year sucks. snow everywhere. We had both bikes insured this time last year, and I'd have to give up a habit before I could afford a sled,lol

1/4 " hdpe plastic. keeps body more intact.
