does anyone know the perch to perch width of a ttb d44 compared to a coil spring AAM newer dodge axle its supposed to equivalent to a 60 so i was thinking about maybe throwing it under my f150 if someone else does not end up wanting it [cheers]

ttb is 43 inches i think, coil pad to coil pad. is the AAM axle set up for coils or leafs?? not familiar with dodge stuff.

if you have the f150, and the other axel id say your best bet is go buy a measuring tape. should tell ya whether there close or not.

yea sounds like they arent too bad, 30 spline inners, 33 outers. fairly beefy. not a shitload of aftermarket for them, but ya can get an e locker, or use an arb from a gm 9.25 ifs diff apperently, from what ive read quickly here.
will be pretty surprised if there the same perch with, but who knows, heres hoping.

ya on pirate 4x4 it said they are equivalent to a dana 60 and i got a good deal on it thinking i was going to put it in my diesel then i got my ford 60 for a great deal so i just had a thought about seeing how easy it would be to install into my f150

There neither lol. They are fully on all the time, everything always spinning! Kinda like the late 70's fulltime 4x4 front axles, no hubs, no central disconnect. And no spot to put hubs on it.

And there isnt a way around it unless you cut the end of a D60 and put everything on the tube, saw a writeup on it somewhere but looked like a fair bit of work. Might as well put a 60 in if your going to that much work on it.

just slid the vacume coller peace over and weld it so its always locked. Easy way to get rid of the vacum junk :party0010:

i think this sounds better! no chance of failing to lock in ! i dont have to ever get out to lock them in and i dont take it out often enough to worry about wear on parts ! but i still haven't got around to measuring the perches yet so we will see i would rather sell it and put all the money into my turbo bronco [36]

I know the dodge d60's are 2" wider than the spring perches on a 2wdr suburban. Ask me how I know that....hehehehe....
