Thanks for the input awhile back I purchased an mv50 and made a custom 16 foot air line with couplers. It works better than the crappy tire one and it came in under $150 including the airline I had to make for it. I need to try it out soon, I have not gone off pavement in weeks due to school. My truck is turning into a pavement princess [16] . I also want some new tires too now lol, going to get some Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac 285/70R17's. Will keep you posted as I will be selling my 265/70R17 BFG at ko's when I get them. Good tires still at 11/32s.

I hear good things about those compressors. Where did you get yours from? There's lots of info on how to modify them to work better.

I bought it from North Shore Off road. They have even better but they are $120 and up. To get a noticable performance gain it is $300+ making this the best bang for the buck.

The battery clamp cable is 8 feet and the line that comes with it is 16 feet but mine was not working so I made a new longer one with a coupler.

Have you used it yet? Any first hand specs of time to air up a tire?

just have to plum it in and get a nice air line and I'll be set too.

I'm going to try and do something similar to that for my daily driver just with a small tank for some storage

That might have to be a future project should work better then this. But I like this setup it means I can air down and not worry about the highway :).
