am i missing something here  they work great for a little bit but then i pump and nothing happens :dontknow:

all 4 have new cartridges and all 4 do nothing when i pump them
i have tinkered with the screw and then pumped it again

like you say, grease guns arent very complicated haha, these might all seem like really stupid things to say but you just never know... make sure you take the cap off the tube of grease, some tubes are weird and have a plastic cap on one end and an aluminum tab on the other, make sure their both off, make sure its cocked?? make sure their the right size maybe your grease is leakin out the back of the tube? haha thats about all I got I'm sure you've done all those but like I say, you just never know

Problem is the box reads Made in China but they are quality controlled in the USA.

i think the label says something about them being child proof...so you might need an adult to help you sort it out. :p

Old school tip I learned a loooooooooong time ago. Unthread the top of the grease gun about half way or more (don't unthread it all the way) then push on the plunger to push the grease to the top, then while twisting the top back and forth a bit, pump the grease gun and it will bleed the air out of it.

are you pumping while it's on a fitting or just laying there? ie: pumping not on fitting and nothing is coming out?

Air in the system, the unscrew thing works great but dont take it off too far and most good ones have a bleed screw on them too:)

thats the problem, after the first use, grease gets i the valve prohibiting the air from comming out.

I learned this about 20 years ago.

if all else said above fails, leave the whip in finger tight remove whip pump till the air bleeds out and grease start flowing then re install whip and go.

I often get what seems like a air lock or something inside them, i just remove the bleeder screw and pump it a few times and it will start working. Then just put the bleeder screw back in and you have greese

sometimes i find knocking it against something helps, like lightly taping against the frame. don't know why maybe helps the air escape

Here is a Grease Gun Tip:

Believe me, I have been using grease guns for most of my life...

When you load a new cartrage, (take BOTH ends off the grease tube :confused0006: ) leave the end (with the pump) loose for a few pumps, it will bleed the air off.

It works EVERY time.
