Hi,

Yet another online forums to lurk about on.

Got a couple of buddies with lifted trucks, I got stock ford exploder (which I also use for work). My first 4X4 (10 years a go) was my wife's tracker, which I bagged the crap out of. Might get one agian but I sure love getting drunk and passing out in my full size SUV.

I camp alot with my family (wife and 4 year old son) kinda a split between provinicals with play grounds and showers. And off season camping at forest rec sites. 20 mile bay is nice when it's closed never been there when the gate is open and you have to pay

Got a couple sweet camping spots the garbage leaving live tree cutting sh@t eaters have not found yet. Although the carnage seems to be spreading out sylvester and chiliwack roads and will find my spots some day.

I also do alot of backpacking and tons of hiking. Yah I need to buy a dirt bike.

Last camping trip was for New Years at Chehalis (not sure if you guys built it but found a nice DIY hotub site, which is in good shape)

Next camping trip should be this weekend as it looks dryer. Not 100% sure where yet but got my eye on Deer/Hicks as my son loves building stuff in the sandy beach

This is a pretty sweet site for weather http://www.mountain-forecast.com/peaks/Mount-Burke/forecasts/1270

I like it cause I can track the freezing level and get a good guess as to where the current snow line is going to be.

PS best smily everoh yeah

Cheers Mike

Well compaired to a Tracker an Exploder is a freaking land yacht.

For family camping I have had great luck in and around Merrit at the pay forest rec sites. Pretty cheap at $10 a night and if you pick the right area it can be kid friendly.
