I worked for a Massey Ferguson Dealer in Saskatchewan for 8 years, fixing
rebuilding that stuff! One farmer bought a new baler, used it for a couple of years treated like a new toy keep it cleaned and polished, one day he was out baleing hay when he noticed a piece of wood in the swath that he was baleing, so he jumped of the tractor, ran ahead of it picked up the wood and
the baler caught up with him! chopped off his right arm. His wife found him,
she was takeing his lunch to him, got him to Hospital, his father had to get what was left of his arm, but it was to badly damaged to be reatached in Regina. Moral Of this!. STOP THE MACHINE BEFORE DISMOUNTING!!!.

how in the hell did he do that?

It's a cardboard box with hay and twine glued to the outside of it Nick look closely at the video you can see where they didn't cover the arm holes properly

Well that'd be a lot less itchy on the ass crack an' nut sac than actually being "in" a bale of hay. Makes sense!
