i have bf goodrich a/t and a 6000lb winch, ive been to davis once with another jeep and i made it there np, that was a fun small trail, ive also been to hale creek, that trail was a bit extreme for my blazer but I made it down the easy way, i tried going up the hard way but it wasnt happening, too many big rocks

we barley got stuck i know but the 4x4 broke so only 2 wheel drive, this is a pic of the jeep the day after we got stuck, we went 4wheelin to stave at nite by our selves, got stuck, couldnt get out no help insight it was well past midnite had to sleep in the jeep till the morning and ended up walking for a good 4 hours to get help, tow truck came winched it out and we were on our way

yeah I dont even know if my blazer is worth lifting, id rather get a lifted jeep or toyota, its something to think about though, wouldnt take much to lift it, just the tires would be expensive

I just told u the easeyest way dude I had one to his is sased get lift tortion keys for the front then spring over the rear and throw a body lift in it the only thing I suggest is have the tortion keys installed in a shop tortion bars are scarry u can just crank down the ones u got and get 2 inches for free but they ride like shit that way and break easeyer

Dude that's just a jeep thang or he has stiff leafs spring over usualy makes it ride smoother especialy on stock leafs if you budgeted ur self right this is preaty much ur cost without labor

Tortion keys I beleive are around 200 bucks last I checked
body lift bout a hundred bucks if u kno some 1 at lordco
u bolts and blocks probly like 50 bucks and brakeline extenders

I'm guessing by his sighn line 33/12.5/15 you can usualy find a decent used set for 500 bucks plus if ur tires are in good shape u could get ur money back not much diff In price between 31 s and 33s

rite on thats not too bad, I just wana be able to fit 31 inch tires on my blazer and id be pretty happy, anything bigger and id just make that a 4x4 toy not an everyday truck, I obviously use mine for everyday use and 4x4ing on the side, but like I said I my goal is to get 31 inch tires on, I know doing a 2 inch body lift I could make it work, my tires now suck there too small, 28 inch tires, I was at hale creek in the summer and I tried going up the hard way and i just couldnt make it happen the rocks were too big i was just bouncing and spinning out

rmiller026
01-16-2011, 05:48 PM
In all honesty i'd just go for 33s it's not gunna change much on the road at all

ive gone some places before that my blazer had no business being, and it paid the price luckly the only thing bottoming out was the hitch, which is a pain in the ass gotta take it off but its good for when I get stuck and I hook up a rope too it, countless times ive bottomed out my exhaust and the skid plate on the front, and some how I manged to dent the fair lead on the winch knocked it outta place pretty good scratched the living shit outta the paint quiet a few times and dented, but I dont care how she looks, as long as she puts out im good to go

Trailmaster makes a 2" and a 3" body lift for that truck, part numbers 542 and 543 if you cant figure out which one is the 2" and which is the 3" then you suck!

We normally keep both of them here in my warehouse and as mentioned your looking at $102 + Tax. Happy Trails.
