So Lee asked me sometime ago if i could post up the exam generator for all those who may be interested in getting their ham radio license(aka amateur or vhf)

go to this website to download the program
www.ic.gc.ca/eic/site/smt-gst.nsf/eng/h_sf05378.html (http://www.ic.gc.ca/eic/site/smt-gst.nsf/eng/h_sf05378.html)

If you are interested in taking a study program online, the best one i found is
its 20 bucks for like a month for the basic program, i say its worth it, there is a lot to know for the test. its only 100 questions, 70% to pass, but a lot of info
www.hamstudy.com (http://www.hamstudy.com)

and when your ready to take the test, you can find an examiner here:

http://www.rac.ca/en/amateur-radio/regulatory/examinations/examiners/index.php

the cost of the test is between you and the examiner

anyways hope this helps for all who are interested, for those who already are an amateur, see you on the 2 meter

some what related topic, anybody run radios for the loggin traffic on the fsrs, especially on weekdays. went up to grace n weaver but the logging traffic was heavy, so we just got outa there way and went up sylvester, but had me thinkin bout when i was surveyin rouada and cruisin timber n shit, be nice to have a radio to call in, specialy at the hairpins n shit. alot easier on their trucks and my colon when they know your coming, you allowed to access their channel, even if your just goin for a cruise.
