i was driven home from a christmas lunch[cheers] when i herd a load pop followed by a bang .i didnt think to much of it....... stupid me . about 5 mins later when i was turning on my street i put on my brakes and all of a sudden the rear end started hopping then another large bang fallowed by another pop .so i pulled over right away . i put it in park but i started rolling down the street . now i was worried . thew on e break turned wheels into curb and got out only to watch my rear drive shaft roll by me ha ha ha ha ha .thats not the bad part .when i got it home i found the probs . my rear upper adjustable control arms both stripped and seperated which shifted my rear dif, then popped my shaft ,and shatterd the carrier on the rear end yup it was a bad pop ha ha ha ha i post the pick when i get them on th comp.

Must be a jeep thing. Good thing it happened on the road and not in the trail.

ah and it begins
now i just got to figure out what i bent in the front end cant get my swaybar disconect back on ??????? nothing looks bent and it drives perfict ?????? :dontknow: any ideas

Nice breakage, jeep stuff.....
not sure the brand but they were 3 years old got them off internet now i put bds ones in they are thicker,stronger and you can actully get to the grease nipples and i found out what i bent in front ill post picks when i fix that not sure what its call but its the rod that contects the pit man arm to right tire

so did the control arms break or did the mounts rip of? did the rear track bar break off as well?
no only the upper arms broke in half my rear track bar is fine i thought you only have a problem with it if u use a drop bracket i bought an adjustable one from jks it works great
