Trail run approx 7 kms from the blacktop to the ocean. This trail is in the Goulds... Fun trail with lots of slick rock and ledges, but no good if you like putting wax on your 4x4 Bhahahahaa it is a tight trail with basically very little places to turn around etc if need be,the pics dont do it justice. This run is well worth it once you arrive at the ocean's edge just such a beauitful place... Oh and we had carnage yes fresh sliced carnage ... Sleeve and A half's carnage: Snorkel head snapped off front windshields cracked front quarter buckled also drivers door damage you can blame it on them pesky trees and the fact that sleeve and a half is go peddle happy . And we cant knock him for that can we!!! I got off with no caranage !!!!

Pre run safety meeting to discuss trail route etc.. Nobody moves nobody gets hurt !!!!

Looking out to the North Atlantic Ocean. Now post some pics looking out to the Pacific Ocean from North Van, Kitslano etc please. I lived in Vancouver and Burnaby way back In 1997 and was back for a vacation in 2009 the changes I witnessed where hugh !!! I will always have found memories of the west coast for sure.

This is the end of the trail its about a 100 foot drop to the ocean and this is were we stop and have a little safety meeting [stoned] [stoned] before heading back... This place on a sunny day is a true gem but even on a gray foggy day it beats the hell out of city life...

Nice pics, always wanted to visit the rock, looks like a great place even without mountains. :D

How's the wheelin politics there? Are they trying to limit your places/what you can do like out here? Might have to move to the Yukon to be able to wheel where you want. :(

Nova Scotia introduced some crazy lift laws in the past few years but in NL were are still ok.... As for closing areas that is not an issue yet as we have alot smaller wheeling community then you guys in BC and Alberta for example. On our local wheeling site they dont allow wheeling pics that show alot of damage to the land that way it prevents the newfie (fish huggers) from crying !!! They really try to avoid negative press. As we have a smaller population and wheeling community its in everyones best interest to keep the peace with the community as we stand out like sore thumbs driving our rigs around town etc... So to sum it up we are good for now and hopefully it stays that way.... I our land and everyone should be allowed to get out and enjoy it bottom line...

Well we do have a mountian chain on the west coast of the island but not sure you guys in BC would consider it mountians .....
