Right on . Makin the truck "yours" is a fun hobby.
One thing tho.You may want to put the rear sway bar back on. The driveshaft will rub like crazy against your gas tank on any sort of uneven terrain.. Front is OK to be gone, but that bar also holds it centre.

what did you do to mod the mass air sensor?

Here is a picture...I used the original piece that goes into the MAFS and wrapped the neopream from the same stuff I made my fender flares to wedge between the stock MAFS piece and the ABS

Here you go......
I used the stock little piece that comes out of the air box and wrapped it with the neopreme (The weather stripping from the bottom of a overhead garage door) and then attached the ABS to the neopreme on the air box tube..It was a nice tight fit. I added a bit of silicone around where the original tube comes out of the air box just to be sure.

Wow that looks like you had fun at the birthday. Did the beers do the driving or something? With all that carnage. And that too bad to hear about your tip, that thing was cool. And can you notice a difference since you re plumbed the air intake?

Hey Gris, I'm just curious about your intake setup. I've been looking at doing the same and simplifying it. I don't know why they have all those weird little air boxes on the 3.0Ls? But what I was wondering is what did you do to install those two vacuum lines that run into your intake tube. Theres one close to the EFI unit, and one on the Y-pipe.

The new piece I put in still connects to a part of the original piece coming off the plenum this way i was still able to keep the original PCV there, the other one was just cut into the new rubber and sealed up.. If you need a better pick I'll see if I can get a better pic up for you when I get home from work.:D

Yeah post a better pic up close of that intake. I plan on doing the same very soon to my intake, i just have to get the right size diameter intake pipiung together. Where did you get your pluimbing hardware, off another vehicle at pick n pull or something? It looks pretty decent on your runner. Maybe fab up a kit and start selling them? haha

OK here you go....The intake piping I got from a buddy, not sure what it came from he just had it sitting in his shop and gave it to me.

you see the original piece of intake attached to the plenum, I cut it off just after the curve in the hose but left enough for making a good seal with the clamp from the new intake tube.

in this pic you can see the clamp just behind the pcv hose

the two boxes on the left side of your air box, just remove them and I used the original hose and plugged it into the intake on one of them and found a small piece of hose to fill in the other location

Hope this helps, It worked awesome, and I got some tape and fixed up my tail light for now..:D
