Oh yeah, a 4x4 sportin' a 3-A engine... awesome. 68 horses at the crank, hold on!

The 1980 toyota pick-up 4x4 supposedly had a running engine but the head was taken off it to put in the 1983 toyota pick-up 4x4 (its head was shot) and it turned out the heads were different. Timing chains different too, one was wider. The previous owner of these two 4x4s could have just put the 1980 engine in the 1983 truck but did not have a cherry picker so now I got to toyota 4x4's with two ripped apart engines. I wonder if the 1980 was a 20R engine and the 83 a 22R?? The 1980 has no regi so I'd just pull that engine and put it in the 1983 since it has regi. The tercel engine could go in the 1980 toyota for my kid to burn around in... if it definetly will bolt in. Easy enough to do...

what??:D

The 89 SR5 crew cab I want to put on either the 1980 or 83 frame too since they both have front straight axles. Add a rear deck and walla, awesome hunting rock crawling rig... just need regi for SR5 now... :party0010:
