is there such a thing as a ford 15r metric 8 stud rim i want to put my tires on my truck but i have the newer bolt pattern and own tires that i love! im thinking i may have to get a set of adapters to the old stud pattern ?

i have seen guys oval the holes to make them fit but thats something i would never do!

what year truck? probably will not clear the very large super duty calipers. there is a reason no one sells a 15 sd rim

You have to convert to 8on 6.5 and run Chevrolet 3/4 or 1 ton brakes to keep your 15 rims and run your claws

You can get an addapter that goes from the metric to the imperial. They are also a couple inches thick, so you will have better clearance as well. Or you can just drop em off here and I'll take care of those claws for you.

i just bought a set of 8x170mm superduty pattern to the standard 8x 6.5'' on ebay for 150 bucks. 1.5'' wide billet aluminum. they space it out pretty good so think you should be able to run a 15'' rim on a standard 8 lug pattern with the adapters.

im guessing is a set of 2 and not 4? do you have a link i could use... that i think that is cheaper than i have found on e bay

Adapters are always a weak spot. Buying them hoping it will work really sucks if it doesn't work. Even if it does work you now have tight caliper clearance for shit to get jammed in . Sell what you got now add the money the adapters would have cost ya and your most of the way to doing it properly.[cheers]

haha ill probably never sell my mickey thompsons but i do have 2 sets of swampers but again they are a 15 inch rim.. i will start looking for some boggers with a 16 inch rim i guess ... its to bad i almost never see 16r boggers for sale they are always 16.5 or 15 ... it is to bad i could have the tires one for about 650$ if i did spacers and rims lol what if i was to get some steel spacers made up ? i really don't want to ghetto my truck but i really do want this thing drivable soon im worried about my daily driver with the amount of abuse it sees lol
