so my body mounts are about to fall out of my truck, ordering new poly ones tomorrow. just wondering what everyones opinion is of running body lifts? planning of making some 1" blocks out of aluminum and putting them in when i replace the body mounts as i and picking up 33s next month, any suggestions on installing a body lift or to go about making them? also... no hockey pucks:mad0215:

If you ever plan on putting in a 1.6 you should go 2"
I used a piece of 2" round nylon (not sure where to get more) cut into 2"
lengths and drilled a hole.
probably locate some through plastics companies, kind of material a cutting board is made of.strong, light and won't deteriorate.

[stupid] 2" would be nice if a 1.6 could be in the future

Alright haha, seeing some good answers[36] so why would I need a 2" lift for the 1.6 swap? I have a 1.6 sitting here, and I'm considering putting it in

yeah my last truck had a 3in body and this one no body lift

are you spring over?

1 inch body lift is a waste of time just cut the fenders

agreed

Cutting is not an option, and I may run pucks just to see how I like it, and I may go back to 31s in the spring depending on how the gearing works out

why? just mold flares to where you cut

took 3-5 inches of fender out of my tracker and ran flares
