ive been dealing with big country for parts they have treated me good
and have been quite helpfull with any questions ive had
if i did another iid just order the trail gear ifs elimination kit
its cheeper than collecting all the parts
im probably 300 bucks over having just bought the kit
not to mention steel -zip cut disks-band saw blades -time -etc

I have done 2 now, id say $1500 labour would be a fare price to pay for a job with nice fit and finish.

plus your 1500 from tg for all yer shit and a axel.

I have done 2.

It's a lot of work, a bit of fabrication, but can be done in a weekend.

as long as you have all the dodads and little things.

I am assuming you already have the Hy-steer stuff too.

this is a little off topic. but whats the largest tires you would feel safe running on toy axles.

with a built front axle(longfields,6shooters knuckles,hydro assist,arp kunckle studs,hub studs,histeer,529 gears, etc) a lot are getting away with 40's

mostly I noticed locally stay within the 35-38 range, seen a lot of truggys running around on 39.5 iroks though.

I run 37's and have for the past 10 years or so on my ORIGINAL BIRFS with an ARB.

Before all you asshats say I don't "wheel" you can stuff it.

I have done just as much stupid stuff as the rest of you.

My old man beat the hell out of my 82' before I got it too.

Just did it before I met most of you webwheelers......

I am due for some new birfs now, but they have over 300 000 k.
