Lived here three years now, and somehow took me this long to join the site. Oh well, I'm here now. Joined a while ago, then probably got drunk and forgot about it, so here's my first post! Name is Isaac, have the same user name on several other forums. I like wheelin' and have a couple rigs that I wreck on a weekly basis. I ain't scared to beat on my junk. [16]

The Ranger, known as Red Sled:

It's got a 2.9, used to be an auto but cooked that so swapped in an M5OD 5 speed along with a 4.0L clutch (10" as opposed to 8.25:cool: ) and 4.56 gears. 4" Superlift up front, 63" Chebby leaves out back, re-arced and shackle flipped with a Belltech 6400 shackle. Now on 33x12.50 TSL's. Parked due to VI. go fuck yourself

Picked 'er up dirt cheap. Had some seizures while holding cutting tools and lost some sheetmetal... now it looks like this. Stock height BII now on 33x12.50 Wrangler MT/R's. MSD 6A box, Crane coil, MSD wires, yadda yadda. In the process of porting the intake and doing full-floating rockers. Got some 4.56's and an Aussie Locker going into a front Dana 35, and an l/s Explorer 8.8. Also doing the M5OD swap at the same time as the axles, as well as the 4.0 clutch. Once I find beam brackets, going up 4" and having extended radius arms made at Alsek Spring and Fab here in town.

Also ride mountain bikes. That's pretty fun in BC as well.

Welcome, seen your ranger around town before.

Just a heads up, don't go to Alsek to get your radius arms made, go to truckworks. Unless you already got them done.

Thanks, but I've already had bad experiences with Truckworks. Other people swear by 'em, but I've already been there. Been going to Alsek for quite some time now, had nothing but good work come out of there. But again, thanks!

And to the rest of you, thanks for the welcome. I look forward to getting out and doing some wheelin' and/or riding with some of you!

Alright, suit yourself. I used to work at Alsek till I got screwed over so I try and steer people clear of there. Hope you have good luck with him.

And Welcome, very good intro by the way

I try not to choose sides. I like one shop better for my own reasons, someone else may like another shop for their own reasons. I don't care, so long as your happy where you are, then fly at 'er.

Any of you Kelownians wheelin' this weekend? If not, you should...

Well, most recent was a set of re-arced springs I had done there completely sacked out in a week. But mostly just overpriced. I don't want to bad mouth 'em or anything 'cause they're real nice guys in there, I just found somewhere I like better is all.

Alot of the spring work done at Truckworks, as far as i know, just gets done at Alsek and shipping back to Truckworks for there customer, so it might have been Daves fault, not Trents.
