Been looking for a winch/light bumper for my Dodge 2500 but most I see look over sized and out of place on the front. have you seen a functionable yet one that looks good at the same time? I also need to start looking for lights.

In the past I've use aircraft landing lights but they suck a HUGE amount of power

Road armour is good but it you use a decent camper with only a 2500 you need as much free front axle weight as possible. Those steel bumbers are heavy.

Dont you have front end problems already? adding more weight dosent sound like the smartest thing you could do

Air bags in the back dont help a overloaded front

are you putting a winch on it or do you just want a big ol gay bumper?

the whole idea behind the bumper is to get a winch on and some off road lights for hunting. We are heading to the top end of B.C in a couple of weeks and the roads are like no mans land at stave....VERY gooey.

So chuck your camper on and run it across the scales and see how much the front end weighs. Your probably over already with a 2500 so it really doesn't matter that much if you save 50 or 75 lbs.....just sayin[cheers]

I'v got an aluminum Ali Arc on mine, not what I would have chosen but it came with the truck. IMO not as nice as steel but lighter. Just have to mount the receiver and lights.
