I just installed a Luk clutch into my 90 YJ ... Im still gettin the crunch into third <IMG class=smiley title=Angry border=0 alt=">:(" src="http://www.bcjeepclub.ca/Smileys/default/angry.gif"> it comes and goes .... anyone have any Ideas http://www.bcjeepclub.ca/Smileys/default/smiley.gif

if it works fine in the rest, its your 3rd syncros. Repair your tranny or get better at shifting.

Try changing the oil in the tranny had the same problem in my jimmy went away after I added lucas and new gear oil

yeh thats what i thought .... dont matter on the speed :( same shit ....but when u stop u can go throw all the gears np ...but lift the clutch then try 3rd again ...same shit ...whatz a good fluid to put in? i want full synthetic ...whatz a good one?

Any good synthetic gear oil and add some Lucas to it

Tear it down and replace the worn synchros, those transmissions are really easy to rebuild. While it's apart measure shift forks as well and check the gear/hub assemblies

Hey there. I might be accused for thread bumping and i apologize for that. Just need some assistance with simmilar issue i was dealing in right now. So, I have civic 4-speed manual trans. Done the clutch replacement. However, while the car was running it will not go into any gear (including reverse). Tried adjusting the clutch cable but nothing happens. Not sure about the thing i was doing. Could it be the fluid transmission? Any recommendations? Right now, I'm looking for a repair shop near Pittsburgh. Recommendations please..

Did you put the CLUTCH PLATE in BACKWARDS ?????.;) ;) ;)
