i just picked up a new to me 91 4runner...when i am in gear and let go of the throttle but leave the clutch ingaged it gets a wicked vibration in the rear end... as soon as i get back on the gas it is gone...any ideas as to what this could be would be awsome thanks i checked the driveshaft and universals and they seem to be fine:confused0006:

Check the pinion bearing, I had the same problem, see if the yoke has any play

I agree, and or check your u-joints again and your slip yoke, in neutral and able to roll so there is no load on the joints, in addition, ensure the ears on the yoke and shaft are not worn out allowing one of the caps to be sliding in and out.
