View Full Version : some upgrades for the redneck ranger

decided to do some upgrading to the ranger ,

on the list is
-rebuild the 9" and spool it
-rear disk brake conversion
-signaw power steering pump

got the 3rd back the other day with the youkon spool installed gonna install it tommoro i hope

as for the rear disk brakes in just using the rear diskbrakes from a ford explorer 8.8 , i got the rotors redrilled to a 5on5.5 pattern and the rest is just a bolt on application

the new signaw pump is just a heavy duty pump for a older 5L just halfto modify the stock 4L bracket a bit to make it fit

ya its all back together , my disk brakes need a little more fine tuneing b4 i install them so i threw the drums back on , just gotta get the tires mounted on my new beadlocks and bolt um down

it was around $150 from napa
