clifford research there moto is 6=8
edelbrock and offenhauser make 4 barrel intakes
i think hooker makes a header for the 300 six can they make power
hell yea theres a maverik that runs 10s at the track witha 300 naturaly asparated with a stick cool car

dont wanna spend too much lookin for used or cheap parts.
as much as i liek me a hooker i dont wanna pay that much for one ;) hahaha

i put an rv type cam and steel timing gears in mine, but i havnt put the engine in yet. was about $300 with lifters. i have seen some stuff on the interweb about flow porting and such, and you can get a throtle plate spacer, but theres not alot of options for the 4.9 that i have seen.

you want a cam with around 260 the small RV cams dont really work any better then stock dont go by what the grinding jackasses always try to flog on the customers .

Go to ford-trucks dot com. Buddy Put a turbo on one and if it wasn't for the sound you wouldn't know it wasn't a warmed up 460. The thing just worked great. 4xing, pulling his 5th wheel or just driving down the road.

i think cam + headwork + tb spacer + header is all ill be doin.. just needed to know who makes anything for these beasts.

im takin the head apart this weekend will go from there.

i looked a long time and didnt find anyone making headers for a 4x4 efi

that cast iron efi ex manifold is basically a short 3 into one header . they are actually really good as long as you get rid of all the other restriction in the exhaust

wouldnt it basically be the same as whats on it if its stock part? my current is a 92 and the motor thats out is a 96. i already chopped off one cat and put a cherry on there.

you can run either two pipes for duals or run one true 3 inch pipe.
