Hmmm parked the snout a month ago due to weak starter motor, replaced said starter motor and it wouldnt start. No spark, check my little pertronics module and its fried. Why would that happen. It ran fine when parked just I couldn't trust the starter motor.
Coincedence?

Well if something caused the current to go into the pertronics instead of the starter that might have caused it to fry. Other then that no idea good luck figuring it out

Hello automotive electrical guru here not some backyard beer swilling hack.

Step one in the instruction manual said disconnect the battery so I disconnected both
Negative first then positive and reconnected in reverse order positive first then negative.

No rodents. I fixed it right away nothing was shorted. there is only two wires on a pertronix ignitor one goes to the power side of the coil the other goes to the ground/trigger side of the coil. It basically is just a points replacement upgrade. I had just never seen one fail.
The only silly thing I keep doing is driving and fixing this old rotten pig snout

there might be pig inside or the flux capaciter causing it to think it is running when it's not. light it on fire and do the chicken dance while jerking off to "blame it on the rain" fart into your daughters mouth then try it again.

No a certain level of intelligence is required to handle the snout and Nick doesn't meet those levels.
