Does anyone know what the 5 speed manual would be in a 1991 dakota with a 5.2L?

The NV3500 is a medium duty, 5-speed, constant mesh, fully synchronized manual transmission. The NV3500 is used with 3.9L and 5.2L engines and is available in 2WD and 4WD configurations.

Everything I find says that they didnt put that in until 92-03 when they went to magnum 5.2.

I have an 01 ram1500 that I need a tranny for (nv3500), found this dakota for really cheep but its a few hours away dont wanna drive that far then find out its not a nv3500.

Its funny though they also say the didnt use the nv4500 till 94 but I have a 92 with one. :dontknow:

dang, someones gonna look at the truck as is, if they dont buy it ill go 4 hours and get a 96 2500 with the nv4500 its same price as the dakota, if i have to keep the truck might as well go beefier not smaller.

should be a busy weekend for ya.

If ya have time stop by cranbrook, check out my dodge farm lol. I think im leanin towards the ram 2500, if I got that I could make my truck worth keeping, swap the axles tranny and transfer case over, no more light duty crap in my truck. Its less for that truck then a new nv3500 is for mine, and then no more tranfer case issues either (this trucks on its third transfer case).

As ya come into town, its in jim smith lake direction, in a trailer court called elcamino mobile home park, cant miss me, have 2 old dodges, one new one and a ford when the tranny went in the new dodge and a mustang project under cover lol.

Well I have a 92 that was a farmers old truck, its beat to hell but no rust, one day I am going to swap the body panels off my 75 stepside onto that one then just toss the 75 frame and the 92's body panels. Whe i get my ass in gear you can have em if you want to hammer em strait.
