Does 10k include rig and mods or just the rig? Also what is it going to be mainly used for, mud, dirt, FSR, rock climbing, hard wheeling, easy wheeling. Is it going to be a daily driven truck also? And what kind of vehicle do youwant, a fulsize, a jeep etc. A little more information and we could give you a lot more help. :)

10k would get you a pretty nice capable rig if you know what you want.

Basically I'm looking for something that can be a daily driver, while having decent offroad capability, I'm looking to do a little bit of everything. Something reliable as well.
No real prefferance in make or model, just something that works well, and dosent matter if its just the rig, or rig an parts.
I'm also looking for peoples opinions if they had 10K sitting around.

buy something already built for under 5 grand leaves 5 k for repairs or other mods
there is some sweet deals out there now alot of people dont have the income they had
so the toys got to go you can buy something built cheeper than building it
also depends on your abilitys and tools
the best advice i could give is decide what you want and build it once
how many of us have lifted the same rig 3 or 4 times to be happy
and pick something popular try geting a lift for a scout or nissan
no ofence to balmer pathy or epic3

get a jeep for $2000, then dump $8000 into it like everyone else.

Or get a Toyota for $5000, snd spend $5000 on beer.

You can get a good used jeep for a few grand, it all depends on lift and such, you will be spending lots of cash on labour, not parts, unless u do it yourself, u can get a really good complete long arm kit for 4g's and if u put it in yourself, (which isn't hard) you will save yourself a ton of money which u can use one bumpers or lockers,

or if your mechanically inclined u can pick up a jeep with a dead head gasket or cooling system for even cheaper cause lots of ppl don't know how to replace them and shops want too much, but a head gasket for a 4.0L is only 39 bucks, learn to do it yourself and you will save a ton a cash,

buy a toyota or a rubicon (yes i said it) don't buy anything other than these 2 or you will cast a spell and yourself and aliens and monsters will eat your soul along with your wallet.

cant go wrong with a toyota. like stated, there are lots of good deals out there for rigs already built. You can save a few grand going that way.

If I had 10k, this is exactly what I would do. 5k will get you a decent rig. And another 5 will customize it nicely to the way you want it. You will get all sorts of ideas once you have a truck in your hands.. I want this, I want that.. this would be nice.. I wish I could...
