i just picked up a pathfinder for a project, the front end is siting on the ground, iv never looked at a torshin bar in my life till last night lol, i jacked the truck up and adusted adjusters, and the truck harly moved, it looks like who ever had it befor me tryed to figer it out as well, the bars look new as do the shocks,??????

:dontknow: torson bars are probly instaled wrong not shure on pathfinders toys are splined like a axel back adjusters off with truck jacked up pull adjusters off turn them towards up adjustmentset them the same balmer or pathy would know better ther is a pathfinder web site
look in nissan forum here under balmers build think there is a link[cheers]

hey guys, just got in, goter done! still lots of adjustment to rais it up, can i crank em all the way will it harm anything and if so, whats a cheap eazy way to rais the bac

:dontknow: never cranked my 4runner but i think its hard on steering components
only thing you gain is some lift makes ride firmer and you lose down travel
i had 33x12.5 bfg s no lift removed bump stops for more travel but that ripped shock mounts out of frame

Yea basicly all ur doing is taking the torsion out of the bar so it will ride like a tank the more yea crank. It will cause wear faster because ur putting more stress on ur steering because u raise the height but then the harder hits from the cranked torsions will cause more wear and tear.

However if you're torsion bars are sgged to the point that they need to be indexed just to get to stock hieght then idex away. Everything is relative...
