I buy 55gal drums for my shop from these guys http://www.buyerspackaging.com/Packaging/Desiccants.html

Last drum was 400 and change.
Compresser airdryers are much much cheaper to run in the long run and used ones are less then 400.

You can also bake the water out of your desiccant as well and reuse for ever

Ill keep my eyes open. What hp compressor you have? Here I know of a 50cfm just a baby and for 1$50 for a 2000 dollar dryer.
