regarding 1992 f150 4x 302

Okay, so for starters 3rd and OD dont work on the transmission as of today.

Also as of today. At first If i turned the headlights on, the truck would turn off and stall. I unplugged the passenger headlight and the problem went away. Now, when I turn the key on, the fuel pump does not prime. If I turn the key on and than the hazards, the pump primes but truck wont start. With hazards on themselves, they work fine. With key on, the engine light flashes with the hazards but at a slower pace. Fuel pump does not prime normally with key on... still no start. Is there something in common with all the symptoms?

My yota NEVER left me down. For 2 weeks since i've owned this thing its been nothing but problems. It was fine until it left dry pavement and got big tires.

sounds like a ground problem did you put a body lift in??

no body lift. Not yet, its on order. I yelled and swore at it, slammed the hood and tried the key one last time and it fired right up. Everything worked like new, transmission shifted fine etc etc. So I'm stumped... must be a bad ground or... something. I'll do the big-3 tomarrow and see if that solves any issues.

check your wiring in the steering colum headlights run through the hazard switch and your ignition wiring in in the area aswell

the hazard switches are know for melting the plugs and shorting out

I've seen alot of faulty ignition switches in the f150/250 trucks, mine included.

Think I got it figured out. A couple o-ring body grounds where corroded, along with a few of the smaller wires coming off the battery ground.
