filter is hand tight!

you can add 1/4 turn if you like but please no more!

spent half an hour today trying to get the damn thing off it was so bloody tight.go fuck yourself
last guy who had my truck must have tightened it on with a filter wrench, then used a three foot snipe to send it the rest of the way home.FUword

:gives: :coffee

Lube the o ring with white grease or vasoleen......not oil, it will cause the seal to swell.

Similar experience with fram filters, I didnt open it up though. low oil pressure and knock/rattle on startup. Fixed with a napa gold filter (wix)

gotta do my oil change again in a couple days, I've had a fram one in for probably five months and on hard right turns my oil pressure light comes on now. I want to be able to blame it on the filter, we'll see.

Go into Wakefield Sperling on Fraser highway in langley and ask Jim there to show u why not to use Fram they have like 3 filters cut open to show u the difference. I won't ever use them again cheap garbage and the only reason people use them is because of the advertising because u see them every where.
