Too nice to be a wheeler, mainly use it for hauling sleds and my camper.
440/727/205 combo. D44 8lug front and D60 rear. needs a crossover steering set up, any suggestions on whose arm/kit to go with?
Also needs a high angle front shaft... has a CV at the tcase but still has shims on the front axle, which I do not like. Handles good on the highway and steers straight with no input, but rutted pavement is sketchy. how much is a custom shaft gonna run me?

Thanks for the compliments. The truck is definitely not for sale!
Im currently looking for a nice set of captains chairs if anyone knows of any one selling any...the stock bench is no good for the longer hauls. Really want to find a nice set of big old school conversion van type seats with arm rests and get em redone with black sheepskin for the seating surfaces.
As far as the suspension i'm gonna pull the shims om the front and see if it improves the handling... pretty sure my CV on the front shaft needs to be rebuilt anyways as it makes a clicking noise in 4wheel.
I'm pulling off the chrome stepside bars this week (they're actually off a ford superduty:dontknow: ). My friend is an accomplished machinist/fabricator and is going to be helping me build front and rear bumpers and heavy duty step bars/sliders. Eventually gonna line x the rocker panels and lower fenders all the way around.
I'll try and throw up some pics as things get done.[cheers]

if i was you i would pull the shims and ad a tranny spacer it will fix your drive angles front and back and if ya want more movement from the front driveshaft just take a grinder and grind the ears down on the cv when you have it apart for u-joints.
