Well I have had all winter to get think about what to do for My jeep and figure I would share it with you.
Now I am sure that I will get comment like Use different Axles and so on but I am making do with what I have and saved from Other Projects.
I will be showing off pictures as I go along.
I am Hopefull that the project will be completed by the end of April and if anyone is interested and lives in the Quesnel area, just email me so I can tell you where I am, come on over to the shop have a few beer and BS a little.
The jeep has a tired 304 with an AX 15, NP231 with D35/D30 Axles.
Picture will be comming as I take them so stay tuned.

I will be putting a 4.3L chevy engine with a 700R4 automatic tranny bolted to the NP231,SOA with a SYE, also I refuse to pay such high prices for Gas so I will be swapping out the gas for Propane, and seeing how little info there is about doing your own conversion for propane I will be doing a little piece of show and tell from putting in a tank to going through inspection.
I'm sure I forgot something but when I do remember I'll put the info in here for you.

1st The engine
I picked up this little V6 from someone else on this board, didn't know what mileage was on it so a complete teardown happened, this engine is going to Prince George next weekend for a good cleaning and to get it bored out .30 get the heads checked out and made for propane. I will take pictures during the rebuilding process and if anyone is interested I will post them up

Teardown will begin

Didn't look to bad on the outside till I got into it some more.

Only doing it because it is a motor I happen to have, besides working on a jeep is never done and when I come across a V8 Chevy I will try that to.
It's only time and very little money to swap again.
