No,
your outside the carrier break.

410 and highter (like 3.73) is 1 carrier
and lower than 410 such as 4.56, is another.

That 30 spline d 60 is weak , how big of tire and truck ? Might be better off
starting with a stronger diff.

either go 35 spline 60 or get a 14BFF

or 10.25 sterling or dana 70 ... lots of options for cheap for the rear axle ... do mandie and reese still have there 14 bolt ? it was only 4:10s but it was locked already ...

the 1.3 diameter axle is the weak link not the gears or locker though.
an aftermarket axle from yukon etc would give you the equal strength as the factory 35 spline.

i have been to snap crackle popville with my 60 and all i have done is change the axle.

you can use thick gears,
the ford front 60 doesnt use a carrier break they all use the 4.10 carrier and thick gears.
truthfully 4.56 and 4.10 are real close I wouldnt go to the troule of changing them, and with 4.10 and 38sit will fly on the highway, get a doubler for offroad low gearing needs

there is wisdom to what you say

but it does not appear that Yukon makes a thick set for standard rotation, so your kinda fucked on the back.

the dana 60 30 spline stuff is too small anyway :)
although I think someone now offers a 4340 shaft that wasnt available when I snapped mine.
get a d70u from a 90s ford van with disc brakes, it will be a bit wider then the stock axle and will match the width of the front axle more closely
