the problem is the gauge either reads full, empty or sways inbetween. thers no actual constant reading on the gauge

Go to p.n.p. with a recip saw. Find a truck likes yours and cut a big hole in the box where your tanks would be. Take several measurements as to where the hole would have to be and cut the coresponding hole out of the peice you just cut out of the scraper box. Go home and carefully cut the hole outa your box. Pull the pump setup, fix, and place patchpannel from p.n.p. over new hole. Simple fix and can be worked on in the future with ease

I never knew why these manufacturers couldn't put a hole in the box so you wouldn't have to drop the tank to replace stuff.

it's a ford do you know how many holes you would need to cut to get at every stupid place they put a piece of tin that covers some thing you need to get to [16]

O and just do what fu250 said makes things a hell of a lot easyer :D
