Ever heard of anyone running a Watt's link instead of a panhard on a well articulating rig?

Just curious, it's an interesting set up. I know Landrover uses it.

DO NOT use a watts link.
they are for cars and hotrods.

better off with a pan hard.
you will not get the articulation neede with a watts linkage.

odd
nothing to stop articulation in a watts link

my crownvic has a watts link from the factory, some newer dodges also use it

Depends on how you design it, but a Watts link is a much more complicated set up with alot more parts to wear out.

I had sketched up an idea for a reversed horizontal Watts link set up for the frt of B's chev that was going to be used with a 3 link, air bags and 47 inch tires.

Wow thats looks way to complicated to figure out your lengths and geometry.

i think if its designed right it would work fine......... but most people arent willing to do that
