a good friend of mine has an early 90's tercel that wont start.
His wife was driving it with too much oil in it and she lost throttle response and pulled it over.
We drained about a litre and a half from it but I dont think that it was ever the problem. pulled the plugs and they all seemed fine, turned the engine over a bit with the plugs out, and it still wont start.
the engine sounds like its turning over just fine, its getting spark, so that only leaves the fuel system as a variable.
or is there something else that could have happened to the engine with too much oil? we drained about a litre and a half of oil out of it and it diddnt look excessively dirty or even milky or anything like that

:dontknow:

Check to make sure the fuel pump is working... could be, it packed 'er in. Best to eliminate the easy things to test for first. Just disconnect your fuel line before the filter and turn the key to on with a jug or something to catch any fuel. If you get fuel, check the filter for severe clogging and go from there. That's what I'd do at least.

Can't remember if those are interferance motors, but if not, might have skipped a tooth or two if belt is worn out.
