Hi I'm John I'm new to Kelowna long time 4x4'er just moved to Lake Country From the coast (Powell River) I just got to go on my first orgnized event the Toy Run 2009 in kelowna sat the 28th it was rad. Iv got a few trucks my old jeep is still in Powell River is a 74 with 12 inches on lift full size chev half ton axels welded with 4.11's four speed t-18 with an amc 360 V8 ( not street legal has to stay there) my new Jeep I just got a 2007 Rubicon 4 door 6 speed (bone dry stock and will stay that way for a while) and the current bush basher is my 85 toyota sr5 with 5ish inches of lift 5.29 gears air lockers and a baaaaagggged four cyl that is going to soon be a jack stand and some almost bald 295/70/17 toyo mudders. I always wana go out in the bush but I always gotta work any chance I can go out and break my truck I wana
gotta eliminate all the weak points. Just let me know when it's time to go !

Think I got it now
The red truck is the only one left
The s-10 went away to the 4runner then the red truck
and I cant find any ole jeep pic's that arnt hard copy

The jeep is still home in Powell River it's two ferries and like 700ish k away when I go home to visit the folks it's there for me..... proabbly needs a jump start but it's there for me

Wheres some good places to go to in the Lake country area all Iv been is up twords beaver lake .....
Oyama lk is a nice drive,nothing serious but some real nice views from about
half way.Used to wheel on spion kopje lots but then they built "the lakes"
mostly dirtbik'n there now.
Usually go out to chute lk area or around postill aren't to far,keep your eyes on
trip planning should be some snow wheel'n coming up,I don't get out much
anymore but I'll try shoot ya a pm next time I go[cheers]

I was just on the trail from oyama to beaver I drove out the hiway and drove back the trail snow was almost up to my headlights but it was so frozen it was like driving in two feet of sand ..... wierd conditions I keep hearing all the good stuff is out twords chute lake, im nearly ready to go any time

It dident take two years to go wheelin again, it took two years to post again..... believe you me iv broken that poor old girl a few times between now and then iv got monday off work and almost everything work on the truck right now!

Welcome John, its always nice to see some new Toyota guys on this site. I like your red 85 Toy, that thing looks sick. I'm from Kelowna too, and know a few buddies with toys aswell. So next time you think about going for a rip out in Winfield or Kelowna, pm me we'll get some guys together.

reverse thru a ditch with low low psi..... i think i need to glue them beads they keep blowing off it does not help i have 17" wheels and that's as good as they get until i can afford some stauns *someday*
