I want to put some new tires on my Tacoma, but the ones I want are only available in load-range E. I've read that this will make the ride a helluva lot harsher and that they may not flex very well when I air them down.

Do any of you guys run heavy tires like these? Any serious pros/cons to think about from a Toyota-driver's perspective?

Or should I just buy the damn things?:D

I ran load range "E" Goodyear workhorses on a '79 1 ton that I used to pull a Bobcat on a car trailer. They were amazing tires for that set up but I'd say there WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY overboard for a Taco. They'll be so stiff you'll regret your puchase immediately. In order to get the benefits of a itre like that you need to be sporting a shitload of wieght!

Shit... That's what I was afraid of. I can't find another tire I like enough and that meets my wants enough to blow $1000+ on...

Suggestions on a decent all-terrain but good for highway, mountain/snowflake rated tire?

It's a Taco... that's not much heavier than a car. What kind of tires is Summer running that are so beefy... I thought she ran boggers???
