hey just wondering what is needed to do a straight axel conversion on my 90 F-150? thanks..

step one - sell your ford before it breaks and is more useless
step two - buy a jeep

then you will notice you already have a solid axel, your vehicle actually moves, and you can go many more places than before[cheers]

Easy to do find a late 70's Hp d44 or go D60 cut out the ttb and start building you can do it for under a 1000
and have a D44 something the Most Jeep's wish they had....

if you dont have the cash to do it, then dont bother doing it, if your going to do a sas, fuck the d44 and use a d60 and a 10.25 rear, you can find good deals on 1 tons, just gotta look around, i got my hpd60 for 200 bucks and a rear 14 bolt for 75 bucks, wicked deals on craigslist, also keep your eyes peeled for old junkers sitting in fields slowly rotting away, spot a old ford with 1tons and 500 bucks or so and you got front and rear diffs right there, that is if you have a place to strip it,
