Is a Dana 70 HD stamped with a 70hd and if so dd they come standard with posi or limited or what?

as well whats the differences of width between it and the dana 60

You didn't say what it's outta but I've got a 92 Dodge 3/4 ton that comes factory with a 70HD rear and a kingpin 60 front and they are the same width.
The 70HD has a limited slip diff. And works awesome.

Ok one of the numbers on the webbing is c37453 and just under it a 1 and the best I can make outta the other is 1mu1ce1761c3911n now that's probably incomplete and the first 3 digits are hard to make out I gotta pic that I can email but can't seem to email it to this thread and don't know how to upload from phone

the d70 was made for decades, every manufacturer had a few different versions

all you wanna know is if it has a limited slip, then take the cover off and look at it.
they came standard with an open dif or a limited slip.
"posi" is a chevy word that means junk limited slip dif
