Sweet ride Joe

Is that a real stamped W O on the tailgate or did they just paint it on. If it's real that is an awesome find those are worth gold to the Willys collectors they're a little rare.

If it was mine Joe I would clean her up a bit to make sure it doesn't rust out. I would swap out the diffs springs and steering for something a little more modern.

And if it were truly mine I would swap the chev 6 for either a 4.0 Jeep 6 with the injection or even more so I think for me these days, it would be a Cummins 4bt engine swap with either a NV 4500 5 spd or the Dodge 47RH auto tranny off a Cummins

Thanks everyone[cheers] , thanks Mikey [cheers] I'm still in shock the guy accepted what I offered him.

First thing I checked was the tail gate Mikey, it's a real one, it's rough but it's real. There is very little rust but what there is I will get on it. Going more modern running gear is my plan for the future. It runs pretty sweet as is, drives nice but definately needs upgrades. Rides like a tank, armstrong steering, basically no brakes with 4 wheel drums lol. No shocks on the front but it doesn't move with the leaf packs, I never even noticed til the dude told me.

Damn straight Walter...Willys Wheelin' [36]
