I have a Dana 70 that I got for free with 4.10s and a locker in it, but it was out of a dually and my truck is single. do I just need to change the hubs out for Single ones or is the axle completely different?

I am not possitive, but i think the backing plates are mounted further in board. You could make spacers to move the backing plates out, then the single hubs would work.

I have a 89 GM dually rear end and they would have to be pretty thick spacers. It's quite a bit narrower than a SRW.

I don't know what its out of, I just know its a dually Dana 70 with 4.10 gears and either a locker or a really stiff posi. (can't spin the wheels independent of each other by hand.)

If I decided to ditch the axle I won't part it out.
