Took a trip to Cowtown at the beginning of August to see my lil bro get married - figured if i'm gonna drive all the way out there might as well make a trip outta it.

Instead of clanging spoons against glasses to make the lovely couple kiss - they opted for good ol beer pong with a bit of a twist - you pour a shot (they had an assortment of hard booze) you take your beer pong shot - you get it in the couple kiss and you hand that shot to someone in the wedding party - you miss you take the shot
Bride and groom taking shots before their speech

and for those of you that know Trouble she was in attendance at the wedding as well

After the wedding i started to slowly make my way back home
stopped in Banff
Mount Rundel

Went to check out the hoodoos

The Fairmont in the distance

So i went for a nice little bike ride up the Spray river - this is a loop trail that originates at the hotel

Some how i took a wrong turn and ended up on the golf course :dontknow: http://i161.photobucket.com/albums/t226/mudgirl_photos/Jeff%20Wed%20-%20Rockies%2009/IMG_3062.jpg

I love older buildings - so much care and detail was put into everything back then - the rest of the pictures are of the hotel

Just an amazing hotel - i'd love to come back in the winter (kinda reminds me of that hotel in the shinning - HERES JOHNY!)

the main entrance

Hotel is so damn big you don't even see other people

This is the foyer in the girls bathroom

Pics from the BC leg of this trip are to follow

Really nice pics Jenny, the Fairmont is huge. I wonder how easy it would be to get "lost" in there? :)

they have maps at the front desk - but ya it would be real easy to get lost

very neat hotel - everything is so grand
and there are fireplaces everywhere - on my list as a winter trip for sure

Holly - yeah trouble was at the wedding receiption - shes quite the party animal you know (she slept for 4 days after that)

[15] should seen her at dinner - 100+ people eating at the same time - don't think i've seen her more stressed
