I am going to be working on FullSizeBronco's rig while he's up North. Any Questions I have I will be posting in here. Its a 1988 with a 351w and cummins Turbo. The wiring in the truck was done pretty ghetto'ly and its been taking quite a bit to figure it out.

Anyways, at the moment when you close the drivers door, the headlights turn ON. Open the door, they shut off. Idea's?? I could bypass the door switch, but I was trying to find a better solution. Is this a common ford issue??

sounds like a bad body ground. There should be a ground strap going from the body to the frame.

Wow must take awhile to build the boost up in that thing as for the wiring if its a long term project maybe go with a painless wiring kit. Like this. http://www.painlessperformance.com/webcatalog/largeview.php?SearchField=10144

I was able to build 5 lbs of boost in about 2 seconds but I hear it makes it to 9.5 if you hold the hammer down but will figure that out after the truck is 100% wired and maybe turn it down to about 6 psi max I would like to try and not blow it up right away even tho the heads have been done so I'm assuming the compression would have been lowered as far as it being a 351w I'm unsure is there a way to tell? Because there is the three 351s- 351w 351c and 351m. Either way it sounds sick! Had a crew of construction workers stop working and come to the back of the building to watch us play.

Dude, bring plates next time you're down. I'm in the process of water-tighting everything and putting intake/diff breathers on. We've gotta sink her before winter comes.

Postill is dry so I don't know where you plan on sinking it and I'd rather not sink this one plus it has no big tires no inspection cover on the tranny and no tow points haha its got a long way to go!

I had the 4runner, but she was getting very tired so I sold her before she died completely. Winters coming up and I'll be needing another 4x, I'll see how it goes.
