Camping around B.C. Canada

There are so many great places to camp around B.C. Most of which are remote that require a 4x4 to get there. I stopped going to campgrounds that have hoards of campers. Somehow packing up to go to a groomed campground/parking lot with a 24 x 12 slab doesn't make sense me. This is one of the main reasons I built up my truck,so I can leave the pack behind.

Now, the camping that we do I don't think you could call roughing it, and why should you? I mean I see a lot of unprepared campers just getting by. I have seen campers in the rain with maybe one tarp, no fire, wet and cold, with long faces moping around or retreated back into there soaked tents. Yes, I think of them when I go back to our camp and sit in the hot tub with a glass of wine, a big blazing fire and if it rains tarps big enough you could seat 20.
