When good bugs go bad!!!!!!!

On a camping trip to Placer Lake my son, Scott, was bitten by a few mosquitoes. In previous trips he was bitten but never reacted like this. Even with full netting and bug repellant they thought he was tasty. The camping trip only lasted three days and by the the second day he had swollen up. The funny thing was he never missed a beat. Happy as can be, with one eye completely closed and the other only a slit, he bumped into a few trees but still had a great time and still did most things the other kids were doing. When we got back and took him to the doctor, he said it was quite common (although I have never seen it) and gave him some antihistamine and he was fine in a few days.
